When fans were saying how YG was so unfair not to let you have a solo album and you said it was you who said no to the offer since you didn’t feel ready or comfortable yet…

And then this news…

It’s making me tear up. Not just from happiness but also from knowing you’ve really grown so much. I believe even more that things do happen for a reason. When that horrible accident happened, I admit, after praying for the man’s soul, the next thing that came to my mind was, “Somebody should always be with Daesung now at all times.”

Yes, I thought you were going to hurt yourself. It’s because I knew no matter how much you goof off in front of the camera and how carefree you seem to be, you really take everything seriously and can be so hard on yourself. And when I read how you locked yourself in your room and didn’t want to talk to anyone, I was really worried. I was hoping you would at least reach out to someone and talk about it. 

I’m sorry I ever doubted the strength of your spirit. 

So when I heard this news, it means so much more to me than just having my wish granted. It goes beyond that. 

I see your courage, your faith, and your passion. You, Kang Daesung, are a true inspiration.
