cos things do start getting fuzzy
Words, worlds, food, fashion, and fangirling.

Lots of fangirling. I am a KPOPper. Respecting all groups, stanning MBLAQ, Super Junior, BIGBANG, 2NE1, NU'EST.

Welcome to my world. :)

I actually hold my breath before every episode of Hello Baby now ever since the first one came out.

This season is not just all games and rainbows and unicorns. It really gets into the challenges of raising children. And personally I find that to be the hardest job on earth. I’d rather take the responsibility of having a dying patient’s life on my hands for 18 hours straight than watch over my 3-year old nephew by myself for more than an hour. Yes, I find child rearing to be that hard and intimidating, so I have a great amount of respect for people who can do a decent job of it.

I am learning a lot from watching MBLAQ take care of Dayoung, Lauren, and Leo. I really enjoy their interactions, the big events, the small details, the ups, the downs…everything. I take them all in and learn from them.

I was really hopeful for this show. I loved how it inspired discussions and reflections.

But somewhere along the way those constructive criticisms turned into plain bashing and self-righteous condemnations.

And it’s left me wondering how perfect these people must be. They have probably not done a single mistake in their whole life. They have probably not argued with their parents/guardians or children at any point in their lives or felt any resentment, anger, or frustration towards their loved ones. They must be living in utopia.

Because really, unless you are not guilty yourself of any mistakes, you have no right to bash and call out a person (worse, a child!) for the same thing. People make mistakes. What we can hope is that we learn from them and remedy our ways.

Now I’m starting to develop a filter to screen out the bashing and leave behind the constructive criticisms.

And to those perfect people, I have to warn you (if you haven’t watched episode 4 yet), that Lauren is shown to refuse changing into the tan-colored clothes because she doesn’t like the style. Just a warning so you can skip it since her refusal might offend your sensibilities. /sarcasm

Before you call these children and MBLAQ bitches and bastards, look into your own self as well. You can point out flaws and offer suggestions of how they could have done it better, but there really is no point in name-calling and bashing.
