Sis and I would just like to take this moment to apologize on behalf of all the A+ who were there over the weekend. We sincerely apologize.

Please understand that not everyone stepped over the boundaries between idol and fan. We did meet other A+ who also got excited but still knew when to take ‘no’ for an answer and leave the boys alone when they wanted to tour around LA. I know of a group of A+ who stayed on the same floor as some of the members but they didn’t even go up to their rooms or hound them every time they came out. They had every opportunity but they chose to respect the boys’ privacy.

But still, there were some who did cross the line…

So on behalf of them, I really want to apologize to MBLAQ, Kevin manager-nim, and other A+. What’s done is done and there’s no turning back time to undo it. But I hope we learn from this and take some lessons for future events. MBLAQ are amazing. They just are. And it’s natural to react. But please do remember your manners around them.

Honestly, the happiest moments I had were when I didn’t have a camera with me or tried to get their signatures. I realized this too late. They interacted more with me when there was nothing on the line except for what really matters: their connection with their fans. Those times that I just relished the moment without thinking of getting something for posterity were actually the most magical memories I have of this weekend. Mireu’s and Byunghee’s thank yous, Mireu’s smile, Seungho’s and Joon’s bows and smiles…

And now that I think about it I could slap myself for just realizing this. You see, when we record them going about normally (not performing on stage) or try to get their signatures, we have another agenda. Maybe it’s to keep a record of the moments so we don’t forget or maybe we want proofs that we’ve met them…whatever it is, there’s another reason besides just simply wanting to interact with them. When in the end, what really matters is that connection. And the sad part is, we lose those chances because we’re hell-bent on getting some physical reminder, when we could have so much more in terms of memories.

If I could go back and change something, I’d just stick to my original plan: hand them their gifts and tell them they’re the best. I didn’t even get the chance to tell them that, only a thank you… :(
